Job Opportunity: Night Shift Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse

Shift Details

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for our Night 3x12-Hour Shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This position allows for scheduling options of 4x12s, 3x12s, or 2x12s.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is necessary prior to travel consideration.
• MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio nursing license or a Compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; candidates must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required; charge RN references are accepted.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment to be completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required.

Additional Requirements

• Background checks of any kind will be reviewed, and candidates with open cases will not be accepted.
• The facility does not accept any license hits.
• All certifications must be active with nothing pending.
• Travelers will receive 2 attempts maximum to pass orientation assessments.
• Must adhere to the facility’s nicotine-free policy, except for Nurses and CSTs, who are temporarily exempt.
• BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.
• Candidates will need to pick up their badge and complete onsite fingerprints before the start date.
