Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation
Shift: 18:30 - 07:00
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our rehabilitation team. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to individuals recovering from various conditions, including strokes, brain injuries, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The RN will play a vital role in the recovery journey of our patients, contributing to maximizing their health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care and medications as prescribed, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor patient progress, document changes, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation processes.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care goals.
- Maintain patient safety and uphold the highest standards of care in a rehabilitation setting.
Qualifications:
- Required: Current RN licensure.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in rehabilitation, medical-surgical, or skilled nursing environments preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Work Environment:
The rehabilitation unit features 40 beds with a focus on providing intense, customized rehabilitation services. As a member of our nursing team, you will enjoy a collaborative atmosphere supported by the latest technology and a caring environment.
Additional Information:
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatric patients recovering from various conditions.
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend rotation.
- Call Requirements: Must notify as soon as possible or at least 3 hours prior to the start of the shift.
