**Job Description: Acute Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a flexible schedule, including shifts on weekends and holidays. **Key Details:** - **Unit:** Acute Med/Surg Telemetry - **Number of Beds:** 37 - **Shift:** Days - 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM) - **Hours:** Options for 36 or 48 hours per week available - **Weekend Requirement:** Must work 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend - **Holiday Requirement:** Must be available to work at least 1 holiday per contract - **Contract Duration:** 13 weeks **Responsibilities:** - Deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures - Monitor patient conditions and assess patient needs; develop and implement nursing care plans - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes - Provide education and support to patients and families - Float to other units as needed and take charge when required **Qualifications:** - **Required Experience:** Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg/tele - **Preferred Experience:** 2 years recent experience in acute med/surg/tele - **Licensure:** Active New York RN license is required - **Certifications:** Must have NIH and AHA BLS certification - **Additional Requirements:** - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - Flexibility according to facility needs is a must - Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed **Charting:** Experience with EPIC is preferred. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
