**Job Title: Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)** **Location:** New Jersey **Duration:** 13 Weeks **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (No weekends or on-call requirements) **Job Description:** We are seeking a qualified Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in endoscopy nursing. This position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. - Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. - Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures. - Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in accordance with EMR guidelines. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-operative care. - Adhere to infection control policies and procedures. - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies. **Requirements:** - **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of endoscopy nursing experience. - **Certifications:** Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. - **Licensure:** Valid RN license in New Jersey or a compact state license must be in hand at the time of submission. - **EMR Experience:** Familiarity with Cerner is preferred. - **Additional:** Flu vaccination is mandatory. **Additional Details:** - Department-provided scrubs. - Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.
