**Job Description: Med/Surg RN – 12-Hour Day Shifts** **Position Summary:** We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for our 12-bed Medical/Surgical unit. This unit operates as an overflow department, fulfilling critical needs to support the Emergency Department while maintaining high standards of patient care. Ideal candidates will possess a flexible mindset as the unit may require reassignment based on operational needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment. - Ensure patient safety and support through adherence to best practices and organizational policies. - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system. - Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team. - Participate in educational programs, staff meetings, and professional development activities. **Work Schedule:** - 12-hour day shifts, with weekends as scheduled. - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. - Contract duration: 91 weeks. **Requirements:** - Current BLS (AHA) certification. - NIHSS certification. - A valid nursing license (no specific license requirements to submit). - Ideal candidates should be adaptable and willing to assist in a variety of nursing tasks. **Unit Details:** - Ratios not to exceed 1:6, even at maximum capacity. - Currently staffed by a Resource Pool and reassigned personnel, with plans to build a dedicated team. **Additional Information:** - Background checks must be disclosed at time of submission. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
