**Job Title: Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse (CVOR) - Day Shift** **Position Overview:** We are currently seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse (CVOR) to work on a day shift (3x12-hour) schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. This role requires previous open heart surgical experience and proficiency in scrubbing procedures. The position includes on-call duties 1-2 days per week and every third or fourth weekend, with a 30-minute response time requirement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort. - Assist in scrubbing for various cardiac surgeries, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass grafts, mitral valve replacements, and atrial septal defect repairs. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. - Maintain a clean and organized sterile environment throughout surgical procedures. - Participate in emergency procedures and respond efficiently to urgent situations. - Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting. - Strong clinical skills in CVOR procedures. - Required certifications: BLS and ACLS. - Epic experience preferred. - Must have a valid nursing license with no license hits accepted. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. **Additional Information:** - Must be available for on-call duties and weekend shifts as required by the staffing needs. - This role may include caring for COVID-19 patients. - Tobacco and fragrance-free environment; candidates must be advised accordingly. - Floating to other units may be required based on patient care needs. **Schedule Requirements:** - On-call commitment: 1-2 days per week - Weekend duty: Every third or fourth weekend (Friday 4:30 PM to Monday 6:00 AM) - Holiday coverage as needed - Maximum RTO: 7 days At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
