**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN OR)** **Shift: 10-Hour Day Shift (10x4)** **Schedule: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM** **Contract Duration: 16 Weeks (40 Guaranteed Hours Weekly)** **Location: 672A Surgery - 3rd Floor** **Job Description:** We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Operating Room (OR) team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the surgical specialty and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This position involves working in a dynamic OR environment, supporting a variety of procedures, including GYN, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmic, Plastic Surgery, and Robotic cases. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a safe and effective surgical environment. - Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to patients. - Utilize Cerner electronic health records for patient documentation and management. - Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as needed. - Maintain sterile field and adhere to safety protocols in the OR. **Qualifications:** - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in OR nursing within the specialty. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, specifically Cerner. **Why Choose Us?** This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
