**Job Title: MRI Technologist** **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (On Call Required) **Location:** Charleston, SC **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The MRI Technologist will play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. This position requires working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff, adhering to the facility's policies. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct MRI/MRA procedures including Brain, Abdomen, MRCP, Spine, Upper and Lower Extremity, Cardiac, Breast, Orbit, Liver, Adrenal mass, IAC Brain, Brachial Plexus, Spectroscopy, MRA Neck, and Soft Tissue Neck. - Maintain a safe and efficient working environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines. - Explain procedures to patients and ensure their understanding and comfort. - Collaborate with medical staff to provide optimal patient care and accurate diagnostic results. - Utilize the GE 1.5T Signa and GE 3T Pioneer imaging equipment. - Document procedures accurately in the Meditech documentation system. - Participate in on-call duties from Friday to Sunday every 4-5 weekends. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of one (1) year of MRI experience. - Must be ARRT MRI registered and possess a current BLS certification. - Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI experience preferred but not required. - Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care. **Work Environment:** - Facility boasts a Level II Trauma Center with 321 beds and specialized services. - Emphasis on teamwork and supportive management, fostering a positive work-life balance. **Dress Code:** Gray scrubs **Benefits:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
