Job Description
**Job Title: Perinatal Technician** **Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Technician to join our dynamic Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) and Obstetrics (OB) unit. This role is primarily hospital-based in the Operating Room (OR), where you will provide specialized support during cesarean section (c-section) procedures. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in surgical assistance specific to perinatal care, with essential certifications for this specialized environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist during cesarean section procedures, including set-up and instrument handling while maintaining sterile technique. - Collaborate closely with the OB team to ensure smooth and safe surgical workflows within the OR setting. - Support patient-centered care by providing exceptional assistance during high-volume deliveries. **Qualifications:** - **Certifications Required:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - Scrub Tech Certification - Proven experience in a surgical or perinatal care environment is preferred. **Work Schedule:** - Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week - Rotation: Every other weekend and on holidays **On-Call Requirements:** - Regular on-call shifts are not required, but occasional call shifts may be necessary to cover last-minute staffing needs. **Unit Overview:** - Average Monthly Deliveries: 80-90 - Full-service LDRP unit with a focused approach on Obstetrics (OB) Join our dedicated team and be an essential part of a unit that prioritizes patient-centered care during one of life’s most significant moments. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
