**Job Title: Postpartum Nurse** **Shift: 19:00 - 07:00** **Location: Corpus Christi, TX** **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 26 (combined for both units) - **Number of Staff:** 32 nursing staff - **Patient Ratios:** 6:1 **General Information:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Postpartum Nurse to join our dynamic team. We operate efficiently with both day and night shifts, ensuring optimal care for our patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to postpartum patients - Conduct discharges and admissions with attention to detail and compassion - Monitor vital signs and administer medications - Perform hourly rounds on patients to assess their needs - Educate patients on postpartum care and recovery **Hiring Profile:** **Required Skills:** - Good working knowledge of postpartum nursing practices - Excellent communication skills - Strong organizational abilities **Preferred Skills:** - IV start skills - Foley catheter placement experience **Best Personality Fit:** - Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced environment **Required Certifications:** - CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) **Work Schedule:** - Every other weekend may be required **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Royal Blue **Comments:** - No. of Positions: 1 - Guaranteed Hours: 91 Contract Weeks --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
