**Job Title: Registered Nurse – Mother Baby Unit (Night Shift)** **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM **Location:** [Insert Location] **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 102 - **Number of Staff:** 213 - **Staff Composition:** - Day Shift: 2 Charge RNs, 20 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 Nursery Nurse, 1 Floor Resource - Night Shift: 2 Charge RNs, 20 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 Nursery Nurse, 1 Floor Resource - **Patient Ratios:** 6:1 (3 couplets) **Equipment:** Alaris Pumps **Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System:** Medi-Tech, CPN (Centricity Perinatal) **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care in the Mother Baby Unit. - Monitor and assess the health of mothers and newborns. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Perform procedures including circumcisions and car seat studies. - Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using the EMR system. **Required Skills/Certifications:** - Must have experience in couplet care. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience working with GYN/APU patients is a plus. - Strong team player with flexibility in a dynamic environment. **Working Environment:** - Overtime opportunities available. - Weekend shifts required (4 weekends). **Dress Code:** Scrubs - Royal Blue **Floating Areas:** GYN **Contract Details:** - **Position Creation Reason:** Vacant Position - **Guaranteed Hours:** As per contract - **Contract Duration:** 91 weeks **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
