**Job Description: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel Nursing Position)** **Location:** Hawaii **Shift:** Variable - 12 Hour Shifts (36 hours weekly) **Contract Length:** 70 Weeks **Overview:** We are seeking a highly experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse for a travel nursing position in Hawaii. This role involves providing exceptional care to laboring mothers, assisting with deliveries, and providing immediate post-delivery care for both mother and newborn. Candidates must have a strong background in labor and delivery, along with proficiency in Epic EMR systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers, including monitoring progress and assessing needs throughout the labor process. - Assist with deliveries and ensure immediate care for newborns. - Offer postpartum care and education to new mothers. - Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems effectively, specifically Epic. - Operate fetal monitoring systems such as GE/Centricity. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote the health and wellness of patients. - Ensure compliance with facility health requirements and maintain accurate documentation. **Qualifications:** - Must possess a valid Hawaii State Nursing License by the start of the assignment. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing. - Must have worked in a facility utilizing Epic EMR within the last 12 months. - Certifications required: BLS, NRP (required); STABLE & Advanced FM (recommended). - Ability to provide documentation for immunity as per facility requirements. **Additional Information:** - No RTO (Request Time Off) will be granted during the assignment. - Start dates are non-flexible, with orientation beginning on a specified date. - Shift schedules may include a minimum of one scheduled 12-hour call per month. - Incomplete documentation will result in cancellation of the assignment. **Benefits:** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
