**Job Title: MRI Tech** **Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (09:00 - 19:30)** **Location: Main Hospital** **About the Position:** We are seeking a dedicated MRI Tech to join our team at a state-of-the-art teaching hospital. This role is essential to providing high-quality imaging services to our diverse patient population, including inpatients, ER patients, and outpatients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct MRI procedures to provide accurate diagnostic images for various medical conditions. - Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care. - Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols. - Participate in training and mentoring of new staff as necessary. **Daily Caseload:** - Varies, includes Inpatient, ER, and Outpatient services. **Work Schedule:** - 4x10 hours per week, from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. - No on-call requirement. **Qualifications:** - **Required:** - A minimum of 1 year of MRI tech experience. - Certification in BLS and MR (ARRT). - Experience with Siemens MRI systems. - **Preferred:** - Level 1 Trauma experience. - Familiarity with Epic charting system. **Additional Information:** - Travel within the facility may be required. - Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis. - All time-off requests must be submitted during application. - South Carolina license preferred, but candidates with a pending license will be considered if proof of application is provided. **Facility Highlights:** - Type: Teaching Hospital, Magnet Status, Level 1 Trauma Center. - Total Staffed Beds: 865. - Charting System: Epic. - Scrub Color: Teal top, black bottom. - Parking costs apply for nights and weekends only; a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass. **Important Notes:** - Be aware of hurricane season: All employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during this time (June-November). - Candidates should not have any prior affiliation with the facility within the last year before applying as a traveler.
