**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit** **Shift:** Night | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Contract Duration:** 13 Weeks **Hours per Week:** 36 Hours **Weekend Requirements:** Every Other Weekend **Holiday Requirements:** As Needed **On Call:** No **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry Unit. The RN will be instrumental in evaluating patients, assisting physicians in delivering quality care, and creating a comprehensive nursing care plan based on individual patient needs. The role requires proficiency in telemetry concepts and hands-on experience with telemetry-related patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs and priorities. - Develop and coordinate individualized care plans for patients through ongoing assessment. - Initiate assessments based on patients' issues, physicians' medical diagnoses, and health frameworks. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care effectively. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and promote innovations in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models. - Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Qualifications:** **Required Skills and Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience. - Ability to effectively care for telemetry patients. **Education Requirements:** - Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing is required. - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. **Certifications and Licensure:** - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA. - New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. - NIHSS certification is required. - Telemetry Certification or completion of Telemetry Competency Exam is required. **Preferred Certifications:** - Not applicable. **Job Category:** Clinical **Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 **Contract Weeks:** 43 **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
