**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights Med/Surg Telemetry** **Shift:** Nights - 12 Hours (7 PM - 7 AM) **Contract Duration:** 13 Weeks **Weekly Hours:** 36 or 48 hours available **Weekend Requirement:** 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend **Holiday Commitment:** Must work at least 1 holiday per contract **Unit Description:** Join a dynamic and dedicated team in the West 6 Med/Surg Telemetry unit, which comprises 37 beds and provides high-quality care to patients in need of acute medical-surgical and telemetry support. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional nursing care to patients utilizing best practices in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. - Monitor patient vitals and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation. - Participate in patient education and counseling to promote health and wellness. - Assist in the management of the unit and oversee junior staff as needed. **Qualifications:** - **Required Experience:** Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an acute Med/Surg/Telemetry setting; 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates. - **Preferred Experience:** 2 years recent experience in acute Med/Surg/Telemetry. - **Licenses and Certifications:** Active NY RN license; NIH Stroke certification; AHA BLS certification. **Charting System:** EPIC **Additional Requirements:** - Must be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of the facility, including the possibility of floating to other units as required. - Willingness to take on charge nurse responsibilities if needed. - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility for eligibility. **Guaranteed Hours:** 91 hours per contract --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
