### Job Description: Cardiac Med/Tele Registered Nurse **Shift Details:** - **Type:** Days - **Schedule:** 12-hour shifts, 7 AM - 7 PM - **Hours Available:** 36 and 48 hours per week - **Weekend Requirements:** 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend - **Holiday Requirement:** Must work at least one holiday per contract **Unit Information:** - **Department:** Cardiac Med/Tele - **Number of Beds:** 37 **Job Responsibilities:** As a Cardiac Med/Tele Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with cardiac and telemetries needs. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients - Monitoring patients' vital signs and managing acute medical situations - Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver optimal patient care - Administering medications and treatments as ordered - Documenting patient information and care in the EPIC charting system - Floating to other units as necessary based on facility needs - Serving as charge nurse when required, with training provided **Qualifications:** - **Required Experience:** - Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical surgical/telemetry nursing - Minimum of 2 years of U.S. work experience for non-U.S. candidates - **Preferred Experience:** - 2 years recent experience in acute medical surgical/telemetry nursing **Licensure and Certifications:** - Active New York RN license - NIH and AHA BLS certifications **Contract Duration:** - 13 weeks **Additional Information:** Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and must be flexible regarding scheduling.
