**Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Day Shift (3x12-Hour)** **Position Type:** Contract **Location:** New York (NY) **Shift:** 3x12 Hour (07:00 - 19:00) **Experience Required:** Minimum 1 year **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid New York license to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. As an LPN, you will be responsible for managing your own patient assignments with the support of registered nurses (RNs). Candidates must have recent hospital experience (within the last 2 years) and the ability to work every other weekend. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. - Take initiative in managing your own patient assignments, collaborating with RNs for support when needed. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting systems. - Assist in patient assessments, administer medications, and provide treatments as required. - Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and outcomes. - Adhere to all health and safety regulations and standards of practice. **Qualifications:** - Current and valid LPN license in New York. - A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting. - Proficiency in Epic charting systems is a hard requirement. - Willingness to float between units as necessary. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Facility Information:** - **Type of Facility:** Tertiary Care Hospital - **Total Staffed Beds:** 528 - **Scrub Color:** Any combination of navy and white - **COVID-19 Vaccine:** Not required - **Flu Vaccine:** Unknown **Schedule Details:** - **Contract Length:** 91 weeks - **Weekend Requirement:** Every other weekend --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
