**Job Description: Cardiovascular Technologist** **Shift:** 4x10hr Days (07:00-19:00) **Location:** Southeastern Washington (Tri-Cities Area: Kennewick, Pasco, & Richland) **Facility Type:** Teaching Hospital / Catheterization Lab **About the Role:** We are seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in a dynamic catheterization lab environment. This position is critical in supporting cardiovascular care, performing both diagnostic and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the field, capable of working alongside a skilled team to deliver exceptional patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in interventional cardiology and radiology procedures. - Function in a scrub role within a 3-person team to ensure optimal operation of the catheterization lab. - Provide clinical support to the cardiology team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards. **Required Qualifications:** - Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a related field. - Two or more years of experience in a cardiovascular or interventional radiology setting preferred. - Required certifications: RT, CVIS, or eligible for RCIS license in Washington. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in a monitor role. - Familiarity with Philips/McKesson-Change Healthcare Hemo and Maquet equipment. - Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, particularly Paragon and McKesson-Change Healthcare. **Working Conditions:** - This position offers guaranteed 40 hours per week with variable weekend hours. - Availability for on-call shifts (7 shifts per 2-week pay period). - Dress code includes provided green scrubs. **Unit Information:** - The catheterization lab consists of 2 beds primarily serving geriatric and adult patient populations. - Patient care is centralized around cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diagnostics and interventions. **Why Join Us?** Be part of a thriving healthcare community that values teamwork, adaptability, and patient-centered care.
