**Job Title: Cardiac OR Surgical Technologist** **Location:** 22101 Moross Rd **Shift:** 0600-1430 or 0600-1630 (Must be available one weekend per month and take 24 call shifts per month) **Contract Length:** 13 weeks **Number of Openings:** 1 **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiac OR Surgical Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will perform various technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This role requires expertise in cardiac surgery procedures, specifically CABG, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in the preparation and care of pre-operative cardiac patients. - Prepare surgical instruments and equipment for cardiac procedures. - Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room and assist surgeons during procedures. - Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process. - Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** At least 1 year of prior experience in a cardiac operating room setting, with strong recent surgical technologist experience. - **Required Skills:** Cardiac scrub experience and CABG experience are essential. - **Education:** Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited surgical technology program. - **Certification:** Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Previous experience in a similar role within a hospital setting. **Benefits of Joining Our Team:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
