Job Description
**Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full Time Nights** **Location:** Various Locations (Long-Term Care Facilities) **Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for full-time night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care to patients, particularly within the adult and geriatric populations. Candidates must be available to work throughout the holiday season. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). - Collect and assess data regarding residents' physical and psychosocial condition on an ongoing basis, and communicate findings to the RN and interdisciplinary team. - Collaborate in the development of culturally relevant, age-appropriate care plans that reflect nursing diagnoses and interventions for achieving desired outcomes. - Reassess and recommend revisions to care plans as necessary, ensuring comprehensive care by involving residents, families, and healthcare teams. - Maintain current knowledge and competency in nursing practice through ongoing education and participation in in-service programs. - Mentor and orient new staff members, providing guidance and support. - Implement safety protocols and practices to ensure a healthy environment for residents and staff. - Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with safety standards, especially regarding occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens. **Qualifications:** - Valid New York LPN licensure. - Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI only). - Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN in a long-term care facility. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented attitude. - Ability to demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles relevant to patient care. **Behavioral Attributes:** - Dedication to high-quality patient care and customer satisfaction. - Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams and residents' families. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations. **Benefits:** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
