**Job Title: Night Shift ICU Nurse** **Shift:** 19:00 - 07:00 **Location:** Travel position **Contract Length:** 9 weeks **Patient Ratio:** 2:1 **Beds:** 21 **EMR:** Cerner **Scrub Color:** Navy **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. This is an exciting opportunity for a travel nurse looking to expand their skills and provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage critically ill patients effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting. - Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs and neurological status. - Administer medications including vasoactive drips and lytics, and manage ventilators and tracheostomy patients. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement individualized patient care plans. - Maintain compliance with all safety standards and protocols. **Requirements:** - Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted). - Proven ICU experience with a focus on critical patient assessment and management. - Familiarity with neuro-specific protocols, stroke interventions, STEMI management, and sheaths. - Previous travel nursing experience preferred. - Must be able to provide documentation of home address and Social Security Number upon submission. - Candidates must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility. **General Comments:** This position is subject to blackout during holidays, and maximum request time off (RTO) is one week. There are no guaranteed block scheduling options.
