**Job Title: Obstetrics Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift:** Nights, including every third weekend **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient needs and responses to care delivered in the obstetrics unit. The ideal candidate will apply sound nursing judgment in managing patient care and will coordinate care activities based on established priorities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess and evaluate patient needs related to obstetric care. - Apply critical nursing judgment in patient care management decisions. - Coordinate patient care activities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning. - Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding the patient’s plan of care. - Participate in performance improvement initiatives, nursing quality assurance, and nursing research activities, utilizing findings in clinical practice. - Practice responsibility and accountability in the delivery of safe and competent patient care. - Float to the Med/Surg floor when the OB unit is empty as needed. **Qualifications:** - Current RN licensure. - Prior experience in obstetrics preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. **Benefits Available:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
