**Job Title: Night Shift Registered Nurse** **Location:** [Specify Location] **Shift Details:** - **Shifts Available:** Evening/Night shifts: 7 PM - 7 AM or 11 PM - 7 AM - **Schedule:** Block scheduling available, every other weekend (EOW) **Contract Duration:** 91 Weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Care Setting:** Acute Care **Charting System:** MEDITECH - 6.1 **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic nursing team in an acute care setting. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver direct patient care while monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and conditions. - Assist with medical procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety. - Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medications. - Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to foster a collaborative work environment. - Maintain accurate documentation in the MEDITECH - 6.1 system. **Required Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) **Qualifications:** - A valid nursing license to practice in the state. - Experience in acute care settings is preferred but not mandatory. - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
