**Job Title: Surgical Oncology/Urology/ENT/Colorectal Registered Nurse** **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in a specialized 28-bed unit focusing on the care of post-operative patients. This unit caters to individuals who have undergone gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and head and neck surgeries, including those with oncological conditions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, focusing on post-operative recovery. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans effectively. - Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings, ensuring prompt action on any changes. - Adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing hospital environment while maintaining a positive and team-oriented approach. - Participate in weekend shifts, holidays, on-call, and callback duties as required. **Qualifications:** - Active Registered Nurse License in New York (NY License ONLY). - Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, with a strong background in telemetry. - Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. **Skills Required:** - Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a high-pressure environment. **Contract Details:** - Guaranteed hours with a contract length of 117 weeks. - Rotating shift schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
