**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele Unit** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 **Location:** Ottumwa, IA **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. This position primarily serves an adult patient population and requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have previous nursing experience and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative healthcare team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver exceptional nursing care to adult patients in the MS/Tele unit. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as appropriate. - Collaborate with medical staff and support personnel to ensure safe and effective patient care. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health records (EHR). - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. - Participate in patient education and support to enhance recovery and patient understanding. - Be prepared to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility as needed. **Qualifications:** - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa. - Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred; travel experience a plus. - Must possess BLS certification; ACLS certification is preferred but not required. - Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. - Must meet all onboarding requirements, including background checks and mandatory reporter certifications. **Unit Information:** - Patient Bed Capacity: Not specified - Nurse-Patient Ratio: 1:6 (with support staff including CNAs and LPNs) - Equipment: MediTech EHR system **Dress Code:** Scrubs of any color are acceptable. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
