**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care (Short-Term Assignment)** **Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Second Saturday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM **Contract Duration:** Until September 30th, with potential for extension **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a short-term assignment in a Family Medicine clinic setting. The ideal candidate will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and their families. - Effectively communicate relevant patient and family information to the healthcare team. - Participate in resolving variances from patient goals and ensure the implementation of solutions. - Manage day-to-day tasks primarily focused on administrative duties, including phone triage, appointment scheduling, prior authorizations, and patient chart reviews. - Respond to patient messages through healthcare applications within 24 hours, with a preference for same-day responses. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a Med-Surg level role. - Previous experience in a family medicine clinic setting is required. - Current Michigan RN licensure and BLS certification through AHA are mandatory. - Strong communication skills, both in person and via phone and messaging platforms. - Candidates transitioning from a contract with a healthcare system will be preferred due to reduced onboarding time. **Education:** - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. - Graduation from an accredited nursing school is required. **Skills:** - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities crucial for formulating effective nursing care plans. - Ability to perform various professional nursing services. - Proficient in effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare personnel. **Job Category:** Nursing - Ambulatory Care **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week **Contract Weeks:** 21 weeks --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
