**Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Blood Bank Specialist** **Shift: Evening (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)** **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with a strong background in blood bank operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a generalist MLT, specifically with expertise in blood banking within a hospital environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform laboratory tests and analyses related to blood banking. - Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results in compliance with established protocols. - Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care. - Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, including Siemens and Syntex systems. - Adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician with a focus on blood banking. - Certification from ASCP and NJ Licensure is required. - Current AHA BLS certification. - Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality. **Work Schedule:** - Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. - Required to work every other weekend and potentially one holiday per contract. **Orientation Details:** - Successful completion of the full orientation program is mandatory; rescheduling classes is not permitted. - Candidates will receive detailed information regarding orientation via email prior to the start date, including virtual sessions and necessary modules. - In-person classes typically run from Tuesday to Thursday and can occur at various locations. **Scrub Color:** Burgundy **Equipment Used:** Siemens, Syntex --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
