**Job Title: Full-Time Physical Therapist** **Shift:** Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM **Contract Duration:** 13 Weeks **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and open-minded Physical Therapist to join our outpatient department. Embracing our "Friends Healing Friends" community approach, the ideal candidate will adapt dynamically to various situations, play a vital role in patient recovery, and enhance functional outcomes through a tailored physical therapy program. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient conditions. - Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring alignment with their functional goals. - Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques, exercises, and progress. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to foster a positive working relationship. - Treat a diverse patient population, addressing most physical therapy needs. - Provide care in outpatient settings, as well as contribute to Long-Term Care (LTC) and Skilled Swing services (approximately 20% of time). **Qualifications:** - Valid Physical Therapy license. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with health professionals and ancillary staff. - Open to feedback and continuous improvement, with a willingness to share suggestions and ideas. - Experience in outpatient settings preferred. - Commitment to maximizing patient progress and functional outcomes.
