**Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift:** 7 PM - 7:30 AM (Must work every other weekend) **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing exceptional patient care during labor, postpartum, and special care situations. The ideal candidate will utilize their nursing expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients and their families, ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team and participation in problem-solving for improved patient outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Coordinate and deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process. - Perform comprehensive assessments and formulate effective nursing care plans. - Delegate, supervise, and document care while teaching patients and families. - Communicate pertinent information regarding patient care to the healthcare team. - Participate in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals. **Required Skills and Experience:** - Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience. - Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care. - At least 1 year of experience using Cerner electronic health records. - Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities. - Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. **Education Requirements:** - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. - Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). **Licensure and Certification:** - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. - Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. **Preferred Skills and Experience:** - None specified. **Other Information:** This nursing position operates on a contracted basis with guaranteed hours and is an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals seeking to advance their careers in a supportive environment. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
