**Job Title: Surgical Nurse (RN) - Operating Room** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Operating Room. This contract position offers a 10-hour day shift, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, for a duration of 13 weeks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. - Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and effective patient care. - Utilize expertise in various surgical specialties including robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, gynecology, and more. - Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols. **Qualifications:** - A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting. - Valid BLS certification; ACLS preferred. - Must be willing to work during the holiday season, including 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve). **Guaranteed Hours:** - 40 hours per week for the duration of the contract.
