**Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist** **Description:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join our dynamic team. As an IR Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the performance of complex specialized tasks related to fluoroscopy, computed tomography, laser, and ultrasonography equipment during vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in the execution of interventional procedures by performing circulating and scrubbing roles. - Collaborate with team members to ensure an efficient flow of patients in the Interventional labs. - Engage in patient education and provide assistance in patient care within your scope of practice. - Manage inventory and coordinate schedules to maintain fluid operations in the department. - Troubleshoot basic maintenance issues related to imaging equipment and participate in quality assurance processes. - Uphold imaging competencies as set by management and maintain compliance with safety and operational standards. - Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and at various locations as required. - Ensure proper documentation and storage of completed exams in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). - Address any equipment malfunctions by reporting them to the appropriate personnel and following up as necessary. **Job Requirements:** - **Education:** Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an accepted equivalent. - **Experience:** A minimum of 1 year of training/experience in special procedures is preferred. Basic computer skills are required. - **Licenses/Certifications:** - Radiography (R) certification by ARRT is required. - Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) certification by ARRT is also required. - State Licensure: Texas - MRT by TMBB. - BLS certification (AHA only) is required, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred. **Work Schedule:** - Full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM - 5 Days per Week **General Comments:** - Number of Positions: 1 - Position Creation Reason: Vacant Position - Guaranteed Hours: - Contract Weeks: 91 --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
