RN Interventional Radiology

**Job Title: Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist** **Shift:** 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday with Rotating Call **Location:** Plano, TX **Unit Overview:** Join our advanced Neuro Interventional Radiology unit, featuring three state-of-the-art suites and a dedicated team of ten staff members, including six registered nurses and four technologists. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge Phillips equipment, including two biplanes and one single plane, and utilizes EMR systems such as Meditech and GE Centricity PACS. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform a variety of procedures including thrombectomies, coilings, spinal angiograms, and other neuro interventional techniques. - Conduct IR body cases, such as G-tubes, biopsies, PCNs, Mediports, and TIPS. - Support trauma angiograms for various organ systems, including spleen, liver, GDA, and renal pathways. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and procedural effectiveness. - Provide on-call support, participating in an average of 13 days of on-call shifts per month, including 1 to 2 weekends. **Essential Qualifications:** - Valid ARRT certification required. - Prior experience in neuro interventional and Level 1 or Level 2 trauma settings. - Must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Phillips equipment and possess a strong understanding of Meditech EMR systems. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Vascular Interventional (VI) registry. - Previous experience with Phillips imaging systems is a plus. **Personal Attributes:** - Team player with the ability to adapt to varying physician preferences. - Comfortable with taking call and responding to urgent clinical needs. **Dress Code:** - Steel grey scrubs. **Why Choose Us?** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
