**Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)** **Location:** [Location TBD] **Shift:** Rotating 3x12 Hour Shifts (Days: 07:00 - 19:30; Nights: 19:00 - 07:30) **Contract Length:** Up to 18 weeks **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver safe, accurate, and effective patient care based on established standards and protocols. - Conduct patient assessments and develop comprehensive care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and maintain accurate documentation. - Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare team members. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes. - Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care. **Qualifications:** - Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand. - Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required prior to travel assignments. - Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Must be willing to work at least every other holiday. **Additional Information:** - Rotating shift schedule of 2 weeks Days followed by 2 weeks Nights, depending on operational needs. - Traveler must pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments as part of the orientation process.
