**Job Title: Radiologic Technologist** **Shift: Day (5x8-Hour) 06:30 - 15:00** **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in an acute care hospital setting. This position includes on-call responsibilities, with expectations of 1-2 days per week and rotating weekends. The successful candidate will possess a commitment to high-quality patient care and teamwork. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, stent placements, and various catheter-related procedures. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, adhering to established protocols. - Participate in on-call rotations and weekend duties. - Demonstrate proficiency in the use of radiology equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Epic. - Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care setting preferred. First-time travelers are welcome. - Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy Permit, and a valid state license. - Strong background in angiography, catheter placement, and interventional radiology procedures. - Experience in handling patient ratios and prioritizing care effectively. **Hospital Highlights:** - Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital - Total Staffed Beds: 249 - Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics - Typical Daily Workload: Average caseload of up to 6 patients. - Standard Orientation Hours: 16 **Additional Requirements:** - Must be able to provide two supervisory references from the last three years. - Must hold a valid California license, with additional credentials such as a LA Fire Card required within the last 30 days. **Important Notes:** - All employees are expected to float between facilities as needed. - Communication devices provided for assignment duties at no cost.
