Radiology Echo / Cardiac Sonographer

**Job Title:** Cardiac Sonographer (Registered) **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM **Start Date:** September 8, 2025 **Position Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer (Registered) to join our Echo Lab team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients. Your expertise in echocardiography will contribute significantly to patient care and assist in the diagnosis of cardiovascular conditions. **Minimum Qualifications:** - **Education:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - Two-year allied health education program that is patient care related. Preferred fields include diagnostic medical sonography, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or nursing. - **Certification/Licenses:** - A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required. - State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License. - BLS certification issued through American Heart Association. - **Skills:** - Effective communication skills. - Strong organizational abilities. - Capacity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. - Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Manual dexterity for conducting echocardiograms. - **Experience:** - A minimum of two years of active experience performing echocardiograms is preferred. **Nature of Supervision:** - Responsible to the Director of Cardiovascular Services. **Work Environment:** - Exposure to bloodborne pathogens. - May be subject to physical injury, infectious diseases, and environmental safety conditions. **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to lift patients and handle heavy equipment, beds, and carts. **Position Availability:** - 2 positions available. - Contractor replacement role. - Guaranteed hours with a contract spanning 91 weeks. --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
