**Job Title: MRI Technologist** **Shift:** Weekend (Saturday - Sunday) 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM **Location:** Asheville, North Carolina **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment within a renowned healthcare facility recognized for its exceptional services in women's health, sports medicine, and neurological care, among others. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. - Administer contrast agents when needed and monitor patients throughout the imaging process. - Maintain equipment functionality and ensure cleanliness of MRI rooms. - Collaborate with medical staff to provide optimal patient care. - Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system (Cerner). **Qualifications:** - Current certification as an MRI Technologist is mandatory; candidates without certification will not be considered. - Breast MRI experience is highly preferred. - Strong technical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. **Unit Information:** - Number of Staff: 9 - Equipment: GE MRI Systems - Typical procedures: MRIs with contrast and non-contrast. **Best Personality Fit:** We are looking for proactive team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. **Additional Information:** - Hours: 7:00 AM - 10:30 PM M-T; 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Sat-Sun, with rotating weekends. - Dress Code: Black scrubs. - Optional floating to other areas as needed. **Number of Positions Available:** 1 --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
