**Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Department** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, 13-week position in our Med/Surg department. This role involves working the day shift alongside a dynamic team of two or three other nurses and a full-time Hospitalist physician. The RN will provide care for both adult and pediatric patients in a new, modern facility located in rural Northeast Oregon. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the Med/Surg department. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff. - Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. - Manage multiple patient cases effectively, with the ability to work with minimal direction or supervision. - Participate in patient education and support activities to promote health and wellness. **Qualifications:** - A minimum of three years of nursing experience is required. - Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities. **Work Schedule:** - The RN will be scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend. **Benefits of Working with Us:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
