**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Contract Length:** 13 weeks **Weekends & Holidays:** Every other weekend and holidays required **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with comprehensive patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care tailored to patient needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate patient conditions and assist in developing individualized care plans. - Implement and document nursing care based on patient assessments and clinical priorities. - Perform initial and ongoing assessments to identify patient needs and adjust care accordingly. - Execute therapeutic nursing interventions and manage the overall care of assigned patients. - Advocate for evidence-based practice and contribute to the adoption of innovative care delivery methods. - Deliver patient-centric care in alignment with established nursing practice models. - Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. **Qualifications:** **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. - Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system preferred. **Education:** - Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) - Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) **Certifications & Licensure:** - Required: BLS (AHA), NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, NRP certification. - Preferred: ACLS, Advanced AWHONN, or EFM certification. **Job Category:** Clinical **Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 **Contract Weeks:** 14 --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
