**Job Title: Invasive Cardiology Nursing Position** **Job Description:** We are seeking experienced and dedicated nursing professionals to join our Invasive Cardiology team. This position offers various shifts including 4x10-hour and 5x8-hour schedules, with working hours typically between 6 AM and 7 PM. Flexibility is essential, as weekend and holiday availability is required, and you must be prepared to stay until the last patient is cared for. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care in a high-paced Invasive Cardiology unit, which includes 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs and 2 Electrophysiology Labs. - Assist in a range of advanced cardiovascular treatments, completing over 6,000 procedures annually, including complex coronary procedures, ventricular assist device (VAD) management, and structural heart procedures. - Participate actively in patient care, ensuring all procedures are executed safely and effectively while maintaining a high standard of care. - Respond to on-call requests within a 30-minute timeframe. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional care for patients undergoing procedures such as TAVR, PFO/ASD closures, ablations, and more. **Minimum Qualifications:** - A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant setting. - Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). - Previous experience with the EPIC charting system is highly preferred. - Strong background in invasive cardiology procedures, with direct experience in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs preferred. - Ability to care for patients with complex cardiac conditions, including understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias. **Work Environment:** - Tobacco and fragrance-free facility. - Potential exposure to COVID-19 patients, thus adherence to infection control protocols is vital. - Commitment to continuous learning and adapting as per clinical needs. **Additional Information:** - Must be able to float as needed within the unit. - The position requires a strong commitment to patient care and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure quality outcomes for all patients. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
