**Job Title: Special Procedures Technologist** **Shift:** Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM) **Location:** [City/State or Facility Name] **Experience Required:** 1 year **Certifications Needed:** ARRT (R) and ARRT (VI) or (CI) **Position Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Special Procedures Technologist to join our Imaging Services team. This role involves performing complex diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, including angiography and venography, utilizing specialized imaging equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens imaging technology, Epic EHR, and ChangeHealthcare PACS, along with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare and position patients for complex diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. - Operate and maintain imaging equipment used in special procedures, ensuring optimal functioning and adherence to safety standards. - Administer contrast media and monitor patients throughout the imaging process to ensure safety and comfort. - Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with institutional guidelines and regulations. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. - Follow strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff. **Qualifications:** - Certification in ARRT (R) and either ARRT (VI) or (CI) is required. - Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role. - Proficiency in Siemens imaging equipment, Epic EHR, and ChangeHealthcare PACS is preferred. - Strong technical skills and understanding of interventional radiology procedures. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. **Patient Care:** - Focus on adult and geriatric patient demographics. - Handle a variety of complex procedures including, but not limited to, angioplasty, catheter placements, biopsies, and thoracentesis. **Additional Information:** - No weekends or call requirements. - Local candidates within 50 miles will not be accepted. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
