**Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift: Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)** **Location:** Corpus Christi, TX **Contract Length:** 91 Weeks **Positions Available:** 2 **Unit Information:** - **Department:** Labor & Delivery - **Number of Beds:** 27 - **Staffing:** 63.06 total staff **General Information:** Join a dedicated team in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit, where patient care is prioritized and teamwork is essential. Our unit provides a wide range of services and procedures related to maternal and infant health. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery. - Perform procedures such as Vaginal Deliveries, Cesarean Sections, and Epidurals. - Assist with Bilateral Tubal Ligation, Cerclage procedures, and Emergent D&C. - Facilitate intermediate fetal monitoring for patients. - Maintain a patient-centered approach, treating each patient like family. **Patient Ratios:** - 2:1 for general care - 1:1 during procedures/admissions **Required Qualifications:** - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification. - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification. - Must have experience with Women's OR, specifically in circulating C-sections, D&C's, Cerclage, and BTLS. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certificate. - OBED experience and MFTI scoring. - Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certificate/C-EFM/RNC-OB. **Work Environment:** - Fast-paced, supportive unit with a focus on maternal and infant care. - Weekend shifts: Four per month. - On-call requirements: None; may be postponed or canceled due to low census. **Dress Code:** - Royal Blue scrubs. - Acceptable jacket colors: Black, White, Grey, Navy Blue. **Floating Areas:** - Postpartum (not mother-baby) and Antepartum as needed. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
